To keep the bow open with elegance, make each part give only what is necessary, and do not disperse your energies. This way you can shoot many arrows without tiring yourself.

Team Building with Archery

Archery is a sport that involves shooting an arrow at a target.

It is part of the Olympic sports program since the Paris Olympics games in 1900. The earliest evidence of archery dates more than 50,000 years ago. It is considered the oldest sport recorded by man according to the Guinness Book of Records.

Here we list the different types of arch without going into so much detail:

Long bow

A long bow is a type of bow similar to or greater than the bowman's height, not recurved, and has relatively thin blades that are circular in shape or "D" shaped. The traditional English bow is a long bow

A short or curved bow is a type of shorter bow, with curved blades (one or two curves per blade), and wider. Its origin is Central Asia, and it is more manageable.

Recurve Bow

The recurve bow, also called classic, is the only type of bow used in the Olympic Games. Its operation is similar to the traditional bow. Its main feature is that the blades have a double curve, in the form of "S"

Composite bow

A composite bow is a type of bow used since the earliest antiquity. It is called compound because unlike monolithic arches (made of a single body of a single material, for example wood) its body, blades and grip are composed of a succession of sheets of different materials.

Compound bow

The compound bow is designed to reduce the force that the archer must exert when opening the arch with his back (scapula). The highest power reaches it in the middle of the opening stroke. Arriving at the end of the opening (at rest).

A crossbow is a variation of the general design of an arch. Instead of the blades being vertical, they are mounted horizontally, in a position much more like that of an rifle. The design of the shovel can also be composite or recurve but the concept of shooting is the same.
